GETTING OUR FILMS INTO FILM FESTIVALS MEANS WE ARE SEEN ALL AROUND THE WORLD
Small Club. Big reach. If the quality of our films is good enough to be accepted into a film festival, that means we are on the right path to getting autistic people seen and heard, up there on the big screen. As luck would have it, our films get a great reception and a lot of recognition on the film festival circuit. And we’ve only just started.
We are determined to keep making films which achieve this kind of reach and popularity.
Our first ever film RUNNING WITH TRAINS, the one which kicked A-listers off in the first place, won BEST EMERGING TALENT at the 2022 OSKA BRIGHT FILM FESTIVAL as well as being accepted into festivals in Rome, Colorado and Brighton’s Cinecity here in the UK. It regularly makes selection at BFI’s Southbank as a showcase for autistic talent.
UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES was a 2023 collaborative project between the A-listers and Pier One music ensemble (part of the charity Create Music), with A-listers getting involved not only composing and performing the original music, but following up with their own very unique music video. This was accepted into OSKA BRIGHT FILM FESTIVAL 2024 and NORTHAMPTON FILM FESTIVAL 2025. Prepare for high camp!
