CROSSING THE SCREEN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-10th anniversary

This fabulous and very local Film Festival https://crossingthescreen.com/ is all about different voices, community and collaboration, just like A-listers and we were thrilled to be asked to get involved. We made a short trailer for them which will run on social media and before screenings. Can’t wait for the festival to get underway!

RECYCLING PROJECT

In 2026, Depot Cinema came to us with a recycling dilemma. Their reputation for sustainability involved an efficient recycling programme which took a lot of time and effort from Depot staff. They needed help from cinema goers to ensure items were put in the right recycling bins; but how to educate people and encourage better recycling behaviours without lecturing was a challenge.

A-listers delivered a series of 30 second trailers with filmic themes and the tag line DON’T LET YOUR WASTE GO TO WASTE. Our signature comedy style makes the message fun and memorable and as one member of the audience said, “ It was a pleasure to reminded in such an entertaining way!”

RUBBISH

Depot Cinema had a problem with cinema-go-ers leaving all their drinks and rubbish behind when they left the auditorium, so they commissioned A-listers to create a film to encourage them politely to take their rubbish with them. The resulting A-listers film proved to be very motivating as well as hugely popular!

Mental health matters

Mayor Imogen Makepeace commissioned A-listers to create a film about the pressures young people face in the modern world and how it affects their mental health.

The film was so well received, it is used as a conversation starter in local schools and clubs and also a sign-poster of where to look for support on the Lewes NHS Foundry Healthcare website.

The version shown here is an edit focusing on how mental health matters affects young people with autism and disabilities.

CHRISTMAS E-CARD: bad elves

Depot Cinema liked our Bad Elves film so much that they asked us to make a version which they could use as a Christmas 2024 Depot E-Christmas card. A-listers filmed this in Robert’s Bar, Depot.

Those elves really know how to party!
